Duncan Reservoir Campground, Bureau of Land Management

Nestled in the sagebrush rangelands to the west of Silver Lake’s dry lake bed, Duncan Reservoir is a great place for picnicking, canoeing, camping, and fishing for stocked rainbow trout. The campground consists of four single campsites on the west side of Duncan Reservoir, and a group campsite on the north end of the reservoir, below the dam. Additional facilities at Duncan Reservoir include a boat ramp, vault toilet, covered picnic area, and several picnic tables and fire grates.… How to get there: From Silver Lake, Oregon, travel east for 5 miles on State Highway 31. Turn south on County Road 4-14 and continue another 5 miles to Duncan Reservoir Campground. Cost: No fees. Cell service: Not listed by the managing agency, so assume it may be limited. Check before you go. Contact: Managed by Bureau of Land Management. Phone: 541-947-6100. Email: [email protected]. Not reservable through Recreation.gov (check with the managing office). Info and photos from Recreation.gov (photo credit: BLM Oregon, Greg Shine, BLM Oregon). Fees and conditions change, so confirm before you travel.
