Day passes can be purchased with a debit or credit card at the West Winds Fee Kiosk located at West Winds Day Use Area, purchased online at recreation.gov , or by scanning the QR code at the information kiosk using the free recreation.gov app. No cash accepted. Reservations: No reservations Dispersed camping and day use area with access to the northern end of Sand Lake Recreation Area OHV area. Sites offer vault toilets and fire rings. No water available. Getting there: Located 10 miles north of Pacific City, OR on County Road 871 ( Sandlake Road). Travel 4 miles to the stop sign and turn right on County Road 871 ( Sandlake Road) for 1 mile and turn right on Galloway Road, then two miles to Derrick Road.
