Campground · USDA Forest Service · Plumas National Forest Fees: $23 per site per night. Senior and Access passes are honored for single campsites only Reservations: Sites can be reserved by calling 1-877-444-6777 or online at www.Recreation.gov The campground has about half reservation and half first come first serve. Horse Camp has 10 units, with space available for trailers. Each campsite has a hitching post, lantern post, picnic table and fire ring. The campground has two accessible vault toilets, hand pumped water and seasonal trash service. The campground has ample room for horse trailers. Horse ride or hike Lakeshore Trail or access the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail from the Bald Rock Trailhead. Bicycles are not allowed on the Pacific Crest Trail. There is a warming hut available during winter season. Please bring a shovel and pack out all horse manure.
