The site is suitable for most vehicles, but access is by a Forest Service gravel road. Payment for camping permits are Cash Only. Reservations will be accepted for May 15, 2025 - August 31, 2025 at www.firesidecamping.ca For additional information, please contact [email protected] NOTE - All visitors are required to exit the site by 9:30 PM as gates are locked at 10:00 PM and will remain closed until 8:00 AM. This site has on-site supervision during camping season. Getting there: Follow the Trans-Canada Hwy (Hwy 1) east from Vancouver and take Exit 119 onto Vedder Road. Turn left at Chilliwack Lake Road and drive approximately 26.5 km. Turn off the highway onto the Bench Forest Service Road (FSR). At approximately 2 km keep left at the junction and continue on Bench FSR for a total of 4.3 km from the highway.
